Police in Denver said on Friday they’ve made another arrest in a shooting that injured now-former Broncos receiver Josh Reynolds.
Daniel Olivarez, 30, was taken into custody on Dec. 16, according to court records. He’s being held on suspicion of the following felonies:
- Six counts of attempted first-degree murder
- Six counts of attempted first-degree assault
- Three counts of illegally discharging a firearm
- Six counts of weapon used during a violent crime
- Four counts of violent crime causing death or serious bodily injury
The last 10 counts are sentence enhancers.
Olivarez’s case is sealed, the Denver District Attorney’s Office said. He’s due in court on Christmas Eve. He’s being held in the Denver jail under $300,000 cash-only bail.
Two other men, Luis Mendoza and Burr Charlesworth, have also been arrested and charged in the case.
According to court documents 9NEWS Investigates obtained last month, Reynolds and two friends were followed by people in at least three vehicles from a Glendale strip club on Oct. 18. Someone in one of the vehicles began firing as they drove south on Interstate 25 near Belleview Road. Reynolds and his companions were all injured either by gunfire or shattered glass.
