Pedestrian struck, killed by train in Denver on Thursday

A person is dead after a collision with a train in Denver Thursday.
The Denver Police Department said at around 2:10 p.m., Thursday, officers responded to an incident involving a train and a pedestrian near West Ellsworth Avenue and Rio Grande Boulevard.
Police said the person was taken to the hospital, where they were pronounced deceased.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation, according to police.
