Broncos’ Jonathon Cooper, Malcolm Roach, Blake Watson fined by NFL for actions vs. Chargers

Three Broncos players were fined for their actions in the Dec. 19 game at the Los Angeles Chargers, the NFL announced Saturday.
Outside linebacker Jonathon Cooper was fined $12,668 for a horse-collar tackle on Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert in the fourth quarter of Denver’s 34-27 loss. Defensive tackle Malcolm Roach was fined $11,2255 for taunting in the second quarter. And rookie running back Blake Watson was fined $4,463 for unnecessary roughness in the first quarter.
Watson, playing in just his second game of the season, was fined for inappropriate use of his helmet.
