Hundreds of flight delays plague Denver International Airport on Sunday
For the second straight day, travelers faced hundreds of delays and numerous cancellations at Denver International Airport on Sunday.

DIA experienced more than 1,000 delays Saturday because of fog and the impending snowstorm. On Sunday, Denver experienced freezing temperatures as a cold front moved through the state.
The chilly, foggy conditions in Denver were a result of increased moisture as a storm approached Colorado, which brought snow back into the mountains Saturday afternoon before clearing out Sunday.
The next chance for snow-related travel impacts are anticipated in Denver on Tuesday, according to the 9NEWS Weather Impact Team.
