Thursday’s injury report had a little bit of good news for the Denver Nuggets.

After missing the previous eight games with a right calf strain, starting power forward Aaron Gordon has been upgraded to doubtful ahead of Friday’s game against the Brooklyn Nets. Nikola Jokic, who missed Tuesday’s and Wednesday’s game with an illness, remains questionable. Vlatko Cancar and DaRon Holmes II remain out, while Spencer Jones and PJ Hall are on G League assignments.

Brooklyn will be without a bunch of contributors. The Nets are listing Bojan Bogdanovic, Cam Johnson, Maxwell Lewis, De’Anthony Melton, D’Angelo Russell, Cam Thomas, Trendon Watford and Dariq Whitehead as out.

Denver carries a 21-15 record into Friday’s game, while Brooklyn is 13-24 in the midst of a three-game losing streak.
