A pedestrian involved traffic crash along Colfax Avenue on Saturday night resulted in one death and a suspect at-large, according to the Denver Police Department.

The crash, which happened along westbound Colfax Avenue at Federal Boulevard, occurred just before 8 p.m., police said on social media platform X.

A victim was located at the scene with serious injuries and transported to the hospital, where they later died, according to police.

Police say the driver of the vehicle left the scene as authorities now work to develop suspect information.

The hit and run crash at Colfax Avenue and Federal Boulevard remains under investigation.
