Colorado peaks see up to 36″ of snow

Another snowstorm is blowing through Colorado, with some areas already receiving multiple feet of snow.

According to mapping from the National Weather Service (NWS), some peaks on the Western Slope, including areas around Aspen and Glenwood Springs got up to 36 inches of snow over the past 72 hours. Mountains in the San Juan Range also got up to 36 inches of new snow. Farther south, areas around Pagosa Springs also saw around 36 inches.

Snow is expected to continue through Sunday morning, according to the NWS’s probabilistic forecast.
