What time is Trump speech tonight? Here’s how to watch or stream joint address to Congress

President Donald Trump is set to address a joint session of Congress Tuesday night and expected to focus on immigration, tariffs, DOGE and DEI, according to a senior administration official.

This will be his first speech before lawmakers from both chambers of Congress in this, his second term. It is not technically a ‘State of the Union Address,’ but rather an ‘Address to a Joint Session of Congress.’

The theme of Trump’s speech is “the renewal of the American Dream,” a senior administration official said.

Special government agent and leader of DOGE Elon Musk is also set to attend the speech, among other invited guests.

What time is Trump’s speech tonight?

Trump is set to address Congress at 9 p.m. ET. In his first term, the 2017 joint address lasted about one hour, while the other three years it took him approximately 80 min each.

A rebuttal from Democratic senator Elissa Slotkin will air after Trump’s address concludes.

How to watch Trump’s speech on TV or cable

Viewers can watch the address on major television networks, including ABC, CBS, NPR, Fox News, and PBS.
