Colorado beer festival ranked as ‘4th-best’ in United States
Beer festivals offer attendees the chance to sample brews, get to know brewmasters, sample paired foods, and learn about beer and brewing.
USA Today’s 10Best recently published their rankings of the top ten beer festivals in the U.S., and one Colorado festival made the list.
USA Today’s 10Best is a readers’ choice award that highlights the best in destinations, food and drink, hotels, and things to do. An expert panel selects the nominees, and readers vote to determine the winners.
The Great American Beer Festival ranked fourth on the list. Denver has hosted the festival for more than 40 years, with this fest being the largest statewide. This year it is scheduled to take place from October 9 to October 11.
According to USA Today, the festival brings together hundreds of breweries for beer education, awareness of beer trends, networking, research, and the chance to sample from the largest annual U.S. beer selection. There is also a competition, and medals are awarded in more than 90 categories.
The Suwanee Beer Fest in Suwanee, Georgia took first place as the country’s best beer festival.
