DENVER — Colorado will soon have a new Cracker Barrel country store and restaurant location.
Cracker Barrel is preparing to open its fifth Colorado location, the first new location in Colorado since January 1997.
The new restaurant is located in Denver’s Central Park neighborhood off East 40th Avenue. That location is just south of I-70 off of the Central Park Boulevard exit.
While the exact opening date has not been announced, Cracker Barrel is hiring 150 workers to staff the restaurant and store in full-time and part-time positions, including servers, to-go staff, back of house, guest hospitality, and maintenance.
To apply, candidates can visit Cracker Barrel Careers to apply online and view all available Denver Central Park positions.
“Cracker Barrel is proud to extend access to day-one medical benefits to part-time hourly employees,” the company said in a statement. “Other rewarding perks for team members include competitive and same day pay, retirement plans, education assistance and opportunities for advanced training and education.”
There are more than 650 Cracker Barrels in 45 states, according to the company’s website.
Cracker Barrel’s other locations in Colorado are in Northglenn, Colorado Springs, Pueblo, and Loveland.
Cracker Barrel’s first Colorado locations, Northglenn and Colorado Springs, opened on the same day in May 1995. Its last store to open in Colorado was in January 1997 in Pueblo.
