A 23-year-old man died Wednesday morning after being shot in Aurora the night before.
The Aurora Police Department responded to a report of a shooting in the 10800 block of East Bethany Drive — near Cherry Creek Reservoir — around 10 p.m. Tuesday evening, according to a news release from the department.
Upon arrival, officers found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he later died Wednesday morning, according to a subsequent news release.
Investigations continue and no suspect has been identified or arrested as of Wednesday morning, police said.
The identity of the 23-year-old man will be released by the Arapahoe County Coroner’s Office following investigations.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at (720) 913-7867.
