Where good news shines

The Rockies will host an opening day watch party at McGregor Square.

The ballclub said Thursday fans are invited to McGregor Square on March 28 when the Rockies open the season on the road against the Tampa Bay Rays. The event begins at 1 p.m. and features drink specials, a live DJ, Dinger the mascot and giveaways.

The ballgame will be shown on the 66-foot LED screen. First pitch is at 2:10 p.m.
