Spot known for homemade pasta dubbed ‘best Italian restaurant’ in Colorado

The editors of popular travel publication 5 Places to Visit recently set out to track down the ‘best Italian restaurant’ in every state around the US – and their Colorado pick is sure to please.

Cranelli’s, located in Lone Tree, ended up being the publication’s Colorado pick, described as offering “an unforgettable dining experience with its authentic Italian cuisine that blends tradition and innovation.” The spot boasts handmade pastas and hand-tossed pizzas, created with locally sourced ingredients.

On Yelp, Cranelli’s has a respectable 4.4-star rating with popular dishes among patrons being the lasagna, the chicken marsala, the baked ziti, and a pasta dish called ‘Diablo,’ which features a house-made sriracha blonde sauce.

“We all said that this was the best ever Italian food restaurant in the area!” reads a review left by Yelper Jeannette H.
