For the past four years, Denver-area locals and visitors have enjoyed Oakwell Beer Spa’s unique fusion of a day spa and taproom. Owners Jessica and Damien Zouaoui discovered how these seemingly contrasting elements create an unparalleled wellness experience — one that has become an integral part of Colorado culture.

From the moment you step into Oakwell Beer Spa, you’ll notice the difference. The spa’s foundation is deeply rooted in craft beer — from the decor to the treatments, and even within its name. “Oak” represents the strength of oak barrels used in brewing, while “well” reflects the wellness and relaxation guests enjoy.
Instead of the scent of beer, you’ll experience a calming scent of cedarwood and amber wafting throughout the space. The tub itself has a unique mix of hops, malt, and therapeutic herbs chosen for both their benefits and aromatherapy.
Before entering your Private Spa Suite, you’ll choose from one of three herbal infusions for your bath:
- Calming Amber – Peppermint, Sage, and Rosemary
- Energizing IPA – Lemongrass and Lemon Verbena
- Muscle Relaxing Lager – Arnica Flower, Epsom Salt, Eucalyptus, and Rose Petal
Your visit includes:
- Self-Serve Taproom – Receive an RFID drink card and choose from a rotating selection of craft beer, wine, kombucha, cider, and non-alcoholic options. (21+ for alcohol).
- Private Spa Suite – Enjoy a private oasis featuring:
- Infrared sauna — Helps detoxify the body, reduce inflammation, improve circulation, and promote deep relaxation.
- Hydrotherapy tub filled with a bubbly beer bath infused with hops, barley, and your chosen herbal infusion, rich in vitamins and nutrients
- Rain shower for a refreshing rinse
Everything is provided, from plush robes to slippers and towels. Each room is meticulously cleaned and sanitized between guests for a worry-free experience. Before and after your private spa suite session, you are encouraged to enjoy the spa’s other amenities, including:
- Relaxation Lounge – Unwind in a zero-gravity full-body massage chair featuring NASA-inspired technology. The Highlands Ranch location also boasts a fiber optic starscape ceiling, a tribute to Colorado’s Dark Sky communities.
- Beer & Wine Taproom – End your visit in a stylish, boutique-style lounge with trendy background music, including bossa nova and French pop.
