Teenager killed in Greeley shooting Monday night
A 14-year-old was shot and killed in Greeley Monday evening.
At about 7 p.m. Monday, police responded to reports of a shooting the Sunlight Townhomes in the 500 block of 16th Street, according to a news release from the Greeley Police Department.
The victim was reported to be a 14-year-old teenager who had been shot and was unresponsive, according to the release. The teen was later pronounced dead.
After conducting an investigation, another juvenile was arrested and booked on related charges. Due to their ages, the names of the suspect and victim are being withheld, according to the release.
Police are considering the incident to be isolated and there is no threat to the community.
