They’re roaring and flying high at Empower Field at Mile High when Monster Jam trucks take over Broncos’ territory at 3 p.m. Saturday. Cheer on some of the most popular daredevils competing including Grave Digger, El Toro Loco, Sparkle Smash and more. Why are Homer Simpson and Superman in Colorado Springs Saturday? They’re some of the guests of honor during National Coin Week at the Numismatic Association’s Money Museum and they’re on coins showing how “pop culture influences money.” Saturday is Free Money Museum family open house with games and prizes and lots of coins to learn about, 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., 818 N. Cascade Ave. (money.org).

Sunday’s Motorless Morning in Garden of the Gods is a magically quiet time to walk or bike through the area’s legendary scenic park, 5 a.m. to noon. Nothing motorized will be allowed.
