Suspect assaults 2 officers during arrest: Colorado Springs police
Colorado Springs police on Saturday arrested a man who allegedly attacked two officers before being taken into custody, according to an online blotter entry.
Oxzaveon Marrow, 33, faces several felony and misdemeanor charges, including assault and menacing, police said.
At about 10:50 p.m. Saturday, officers from the Sand Creek division responded to a call about a disturbance in progress in the 3300 block of West Portal Drive, near The Citadel mall, with several people involved in a physical fight and one person threatening to shoot people, officials said. When the officers arrived, the suspect had gone into an apartment and initially refused to come out.
When the man did come out, he allegedly assaulted two officers before he was arrested. No injuries were reported.
Marrow is being held at the El Paso County Jail on $10,000 bond, and is scheduled to appear in court on Monday, according to court records.
