A lone Colorado hotel was recently featured on TripAdvisor’s 2025 ‘Best of the Best’ ranking related to luxury hotels found around the United States.

This year’s ranking for the country’s ‘Best of the Best luxury hotels’ category featured 24 spots, with the ranking based on reviews and comments left on the TripAdvisor website. According to the company, less than one percent of the eight million listings on the site end up getting a ‘Best of the Best’ award.

The only Colorado hotel mentioned on the list was Denver’s The Crawford Hotel, located in Denver Union Station. The Crawford Hotel has a 4.7-star rating on TripAdvisor with around 2,000 reviews, described by TripAdvisor as “a cool mix of old-school charm and modern luxury.”

“Unique design details and complimentary services make this a memorable stay; there’s even bedtime stories at night,” reads the TripAdvisor description. “Exploring is easy with public transit right here, so you can check out the city and then return to enjoy hotel’s lively vibe and great service.”

The Crawford Hotel offers guests the experience of sleeping inside of Denver Union Station, first opening in 1881 and then revitalized in 2014. It’s named after Denver urban preservationist Dana Crawford and features 112 guest rooms.

“We are thrilled to be the only Colorado hotel recognized with this TripAdvisor award,” said Denver Union Station Area General Manager Ed Blair. “Our team works very hard every day to deliver an elevated guest experience, to share the history of this incredible building and to honor the remarkable life of our namesake Dana Crawford.”

Located a few blocks southwest of Coors Field, The Crawford Hotel is found at 1701 Wynkoop Street. Based on pricing found online, most rooms land in the $300 to $350 range.
