Operating since 1969, the Mutual UFO Network has long been a community of people interested in the unexplained and the extraterrestrial – and during an upcoming weekend, they’re hosting a “one-of-a-kind” event in a Colorado mountain town that aims to teach participants how to properly analyze media in the search of better understanding unidentified flying objects.

The event, dubbed the “Photo Analysis Boot Camp,” is set to take place in Cripple Creek from May 16 through May 18. According to a press release on the matter, “trained UFO field investigators from across the globe will gather in Colorado to learn advanced skills in photo forensics, helping to better authenticate and identify images and videos of Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP) and UFOs.”

The event is set to host hands-on sessions that analyze real cases, with the hopes of better allowing participants to be able to distinguish between a misidentified object and what may be a genuine UFO sighting.
