Broncos hire Cam Williams as co-director of player personnel
The Broncos have hired veteran talent evaluator Cam Williams as co-director of player personnel, a source said Tuesday.
Williams spent the past nine years with the New England Patriots, including the past three as director of college scouting. He previously had been a national scout and a regional scout for the team.
Williams joins a front office that has lost a number of individuals this year who served under general manager George Paton. Assistant general manager Darren Mougey became New York Jets general manager, vice president of football operations Mark Thewes became Las Vegas senior vice president of football operations and strategy, director of college scouting Brian Stark became Raiders assistant general manager, national scout Rob Paton became Jets co-director of player personnel and senior personnel executive David Shaw became Detroit’s passing game coordinator.
