Denver Nuggets forward Aaron Gordon available for Game 7 at Oklahoma City
Aaron Gordon is going to give the Nuggets what he can in Sunday’s Game 7.
“He’s trying to play,” interim coach David Adelman said 90 minutes before Sunday’s tipoff. “Obviously, he is injured, but he’s going through the process to see if he can give us something.”
Gordon has a Grade 2 hamstring strain, according to a report from ESPN’s Shams Charania Sunday morning. Adelman didn’t disclose the severity of the strain. The Nuggets announced Gordon would be available less than an hour before tipoff. Gordon started alongside Jamal Murray, Christian Braun, Michael Porter Jr. and Nikola Jokic.
Denver plays Oklahoma City at 1:30 p.m. Sunday with the series tied at 3-3. The Western Conference finals are scheduled to begin with Game 1 vs. Minnesota at Denver or Oklahoma City on Tuesday.
