Where the good news shines

Colorado State second baseman Kaylynn English was named to the NFCA All-District team on Thursday. English was named to the second-team after being named to the All-Mountain West second-team earlier this season.

English finished the season playing 14 games against top 75 RPI teams, a weighted category in the nomination and voting process. In those 14 games, she hit at a .324 average with 11 hits including two doubles.

Overall on the season, English finished second among Rams in batting average at .350 while slugging .475 with four doubles, four triples and a home run.

This is English’s first All-District accolade keeping the streak active after two Rams were named to the list last season.
