Prospects for the Colorado Avalanche will hit the ice earlier than usual this year.
The organization on Tuesday announced its annual Development Camp will take place from July 1-3 at Family Sports Center, a few days earlier than it has in recent years. The camp will consist of three on-ice days that are free and open to the public.
A roster has not been announced. The Denver Gazette previously reported top goaltending prospect Ilya Nabokov is expected to be present as long as he can get his visa situation worked out. It would mark his first appearance in North America since being drafted by Colorado in the second round of the 2024 NHL Draft.
Here is the schedule for all on-ice activities:
July 1: 8:10-11:45 a.m.
July 2: 8:10-11:45 a.m.
July 3: 9-11:00 a.m.
