A man was sentenced to 40 years in prison for distributing meth, according to Boulder County authorities.

Michael Kaiser entered guilty pleas and was sentenced Wednesday, authorities said.

Authorities said in one case, Kaiser sold hundreds of grams of 458 grams of meth to an individual that transported the narcotics to Nebraska.

In another case, Kaiser was caught selling 223.83 grams of meth.

In both cases, Kaiser was sentenced to 20 years.

Authorities said that, in 2013, Kaiser was also indicted for drug distribution. He pleaded guilty in that case and was sentenced to 20 years in prison.
