The Rocky Mountains may seem like an unlikely place to find the world’s largest collection of keys, but that’s exactly what you’ll find at the Seven Keys Lodge in Estes Park.

Home to more than 20,000 keys, this bed and breakfast is said to hold the world’s largest key collection. According to Atlas Obscura, the spot features keys to places that open doors everywhere from London to Frankenstein’s Castle to the White House to a Peruvian Monastery and beyond. The collection is organized categorically by location and hung on the hotel’s ceiling and walls. The spot has been receiving donations since the end of World War II.

A few other noteworthy keys are those to Westminster Abbey, Mozart’s wine cellar, and Adolf Hitler’s bunker. Guests will also find keys from the Pentagon and the White House bathroom.

The Seven Keys Lodge (which was formerly known as The Baldpate Inn) was founded by brothers Charles and Gordon Mace in 1917. Mark and Meredith Powell took over ownership of the inn in 2020.
