Falcon rescued after getting caught in netting in Summit County

A falcon was rescued after getting caught in netting at the Summit County Resource Allocation Park (SCRAP).
According to a Facebook post from the Summit County Sheriff’s Office, the Summit County Sheriff’s Deputies and Summit Fire & EMS worked to rescue the bird on Friday night.
The bird was safely captured and taken to the Summit County Animal Control and Shelter for evaluation of wing injury.
“We’re all hoping for a full and speedy recovery for our feathered friend!” reads the Facebook post from the Summit County Sheriff’s Office.
