Avalanche, Denver Pioneers announce doubleheader game times at Ball Arena | Colorado Sunshine

Where good news shines
The final weekend of November was made for Denver puck heads.
University of Denver hockey announced the Pioneers will face the University of Minnesota in the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame Game at Ball Arena at 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 29.
The juicy matchup is the nightcap of a hockey doubleheader at Ball Arena. The Avalanche host the Montreal Canadiens at 1 p.m. the same day.
Tickets for the Denver-Minnesota game start at $35 and go on sale Aug. 1 via Ticketmaster. Season-ticket holders can purchase tickets through a presale July 29-31.
DU’s other regular-season game at Ball Arena — a hotly contested matchup with rival Colorado College — drew 17,952 fans, an indoor record for a Pioneers game in Colorado.
Denver and Minnesota have combined for 15 NCAA championships, 43 Frozen Four appearances and are two of six programs with more than 1,600 wins.
