Where good news shines
Denver Pioneers hockey is right around the corner.
And the schedule has been tweaked.
Denver rescheduled its series with Lindenwood. Originally earmarked for Oct. 4-5, the series now will take place Oct. 17-18 in St. Charles, Mo. Additionally, Alaska Anchorage will visit Magness Arena on Oct. 31-Nov. 1.
The moves bumped Denver’s Homecoming Weekend to Oct. 31-Nov. 1 against Alaska Anchorage. The Pios also added an exhibition against UNLV on Oct. 4 at Magness.
Denver opens the regular season at Air Force on Friday, Oct. 10.
The Pioneers have reached the Frozen Four in three of the past four seasons with a pair of national titles under coach David Carle.
