Sheriff deputies arrested a man in Arapahoe County for allegedly pointing a handgun at an electric worker, according to a post on X from the Arapahoe Sheriff’s Office.
On Wednesday, the suspect pointed the gun at the Core Electric worker, who knocked on his front door in order gain access to his backyard to check a utility pole.
According to the post, the man was also found to be intoxicated before noon and was booked into the Arapahoe County Detention Facility on charges of felony menacing and prohibited use of a weapon.
The sheriff’s office noted a second man was detained and arrested on unrelated warrants but didn’t mention the relation to the incident in the post.
