Colorado lacrosse earns IWLCA academic honor | Colorado Sunshine

Where the good news shines

University of Colorado lacrosse was one of 338 teams across college athletics named to the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Academic Honor Squad.

The team honor is the fifth straight for the Buffaloes and their ninth total. To qualify for the prestigious honor, teams must have posted a 3.2 or higher team GPA for the academic year.

Individually, nine Buffs were honored. Danielle Heintz, Mack Hanlon, Kendall Havill, Jordan Johnson, Samantha Lipka, Katie McLean, Madeline Pisani, Morgan Pence and Molly Reed represented CU out of 1,163 total student-athletes from 124 different institutions.
