Colorado Christian alum Cameron Sandland named new men’s golf coach | Colorado Sunshine
Where good news shines
One of the most dominant golf programs in Colorado will have a new leader.
Cameron Sandland, who was a member of the 2023-24 national champion Colorado Christian men’s golf team, is returning to lead the program as its new head coach.
Sandland played for the Cougars from 2021-24. He holds the program record for the lowest score in a single 18-hole round when he shot 61 at the Waikoloa Kings Course on Oct. 26, 2021.
Former coach Mark Hull moved into a new role after this past season. Hull helped bring the team into the national spotlight, including their NCAA Division II national title.
“This program changed my life, being able to live out our faith on and off the course is what sets us apart,” Sandland said. “Coach Hull paved the way, showing myself what it looks like to be a servant leader while motivating a team to pursue excellence in all we do. I’m excited to lead with the same intentions and give God the glory through thick and thin.”
