The Nuggets will have more NBA experience at training camp.
Kessler Edwards agreed to an Exhibit 10 contract, The Denver Gazette learned Tuesday.
Edwards is a 6-foot-8 forward who has been a 36% 3-point shooter across 178 NBA games with the Nets, Kings and Mavericks. Brooklyn selected the 25-year-old who played collegiately at Pepperdine with the 44th overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft.
Exhibit 10 contracts are one-year, non-guaranteed contracts that provide a bonus if a player spends at least 60 days with the franchise’s G League affiliate. The Nuggets still have one standard roster spot available, but the team’s two-way spots are taken by Tamar Bates, Spencer Jones and Curtis Jones.
HoopsHype first reported Edwards’ deal with Denver.
