Colorado School of Mines selected as 2025 RMAC women’s soccer preseason favorites | Colorado Sunshine
Where the good news shines
Colorado School of Mines, the defending Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference regular season and tournament champions, was named the 2025 RMAC women’s soccer preseason favorite on Thursday.
The Orediggers received 140 total points and nine of the 12 first-place votes. Colorado School of Mines enters the season ranked No. 4 in the United Soccer Coaches preseason poll.
The University of Colorado Colorado Springs lands at No. 2 with 130 points and three first-place votes. Colorado Mesa University (117 points) and Metropolitan State University of Denver (109 points) follow closely in third and fourth place, respectively. Fort Lewis College rounds out the top five with 95 points.
The remainder of the preseason poll includes Westminster University (90), Regis University (76), Colorado Christian University (71), Colorado State University Pueblo (52), Western Colorado University (50), Black Hills State University (34), Adams State University (31), and New Mexico Highlands University (19).
