Colorado Springs man arrested in $76,000 casino robbery in Cripple Creek

The Cripple Creek Police Department has arrested a suspect in connection with the theft of $76,800 from J.P. McGill’s Casino in Cripple Creek Monday morning, according to a release from the department. 

Andrew Joel Irvine, 26, of Colorado Springs, was arrested and is being held at the Teller County Jail. The release stated the investigation is active and ongoing and formal charges are pending. 

The Colorado Springs Police Department and Colorado Division of Gaming were involved in the investigation, according to the release. 

Court records show Irvine was also arrested on Thursday for robbery in Teller County.
