Denver Pioneers soccer no longer is under the radar.

Denver opened at No. 3 in the Top Drawer Soccer Poll released Monday. The Pios were No. 4 in the United Soccer Coaches’ preseason poll.

Denver is scheduled to face six teams that appeared in the Top Drawer poll: No. 10 Stanford (Sunday), No. 9 San Diego (Aug. 28), No. 13 Kansas City (Sept. 27), No. 14 Georgetown (Oct. 7), No. 5 Pittsburgh (Oct. 14) and No. 17 Virginia (Oct. 19).

The games against San Diego and Kansas City will be played at Denver.

Denver hosts the University of Washington at 7 p.m. Thursday.
