Memorial Park in Colorado Springs will be filled with color in the skies as 70 hot air balloons take off during the three-day Labor Day Lift Off in Memorial Park in this 49-year event. Two waves of 35 balloons will take off over all parts of the city with a map for viewers in vantage points. At 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, 20-30 tethered balloons will be inflated as folks get close up for the Balloon Glo.
