Trump White House changes LinkedIn profile picture to his face
The Trump White House updated its profile picture on LinkedIn to simply show President Donald Trump’s face, causing a stir among Biden administration alumni and former Democratic workers.
Former White House spokesman Jeremy Edwards, who worked under the Biden administration, posted photos of his LinkedIn work experience on X, saying anyone who visits his page will now see Trump’s face.
“I guess that’s what I get for using LinkedIn,” Edwards said on X.
White House Director of Communications Steven Cheung reposted Edwards’s statement on X, saying, “that’s the whole point, dummy.”
Geoffrey U.L. Preudhomme Jr., another alumni of the previous administration, also highlighted the change, encouraging his former colleagues to change their icons to “the Biden-Harris White House.”

Former President Barack Obama’s LinkedIn page also displays Trump’s photo. The picture is next to Obama’s work experience as president of the United States.
Obama has not acknowledged the update as of Wednesday morning. His most recent post on X was on Labor Day.
