1 dead in crash on Santa Fe Drive, Denver police say

A crash in south Denver left one person dead late Saturday night, according to the Denver Police Department.
Denver police reported the crash on the social media platform X at 10:08 p.m.
Police said the crash occurred at the intersection of South Santa Fe Drive and West Evans Avenue.
The crash involved two motorists. One of the motorists died as a result, according to the police.
It remains unclear the condition of the other motorist.
The Denver Gazette reached out to Denver police for more information on what led to the crash on Saturday night.
The crash remains under investigation Sunday.
