Denver weather: Possible rain Tuesday but mostly sunny and warm
Lots of sunshine early on Tuesday around metro Denver before afternoon clouds build and some rain might fall later in the day.
Denver residents can expect a slight chance of showers between 2 and 3 p.m. today, then a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after 3 p.m., according to the National Weather Service in Boulder. It’ll be mostly sunny, with a high near 87. Calm winds become south between 5 to 7 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
Tonight, it’ll be partly cloudy, with a low around 57 and a south southwest wind between 5 to 8 mph.
High temperatures stay in the mid- to upper-80s Wednesday and Thursday before a slight cool down on Friday with a slight chance of rain in the afternoon.
