‘Shocked a Subaru could do that’: Driver clocked at nearly 100 MPH in Colorado

Last week was long and busy for the Loveland Police Department.

According to an X post from the LPD, they “saw it all,” including fleeing suspects taken into custody, a juvenile arrested with a firearm, an individual booked on a dozen active warrants, DUI arrests, burglaries, and more.”

In one response, a Subaru driver was allegedly clocked at nearly 100 mph.

“We’re just as shocked as you that a Subaru could actually do that,” the police department wrote in the post.

“Loveland remains an incredible city filled with the best residents anywhere, though criminal activity never fully takes a break,” the police department said. “As we enter a new week, we stand ready to serve and protect.”

For the record, both the Subaru Forester and Outback have a top speed of over 100 miles per hour.
