Charlie Kirk’s next stop was set to be Colorado mountain town prior to death
Conservative activist Charlie Kirk was shot and killed at Utah Valley University on September 10, with video footage of the chaotic and horrific scene having since sent shockwaves across the Internet. The shooting took place during the first stop of his ‘The American Comeback Tour’ while Kirk was fielding a question from an audience member.
While the next official stop of his tour was set to be at Colorado State University on September 18, he was set to appear at another Colorado event before that prior to his death.
Kirk was set to be the featured speaker during the first day of the Truth & Liberty Conference, set to take place at Charis Bible College in Woodland Park, located just west of Colorado Springs. The conference is scheduled to take place from September 11 through September 13, and Kirk was scheduled to speak at 7:05 p.m. on Thursday. Other scheduled speakers include Lauren Boebert, Jeff Crank, Lorenzo Sewell, and Andrew Wommack, among others.
Kirk was described by the conference as follows: “Founder and president of Turning Point USA, a national organization empowering young people to stand for freedom, faith, and conservative values. A bold voice on campuses and in media, he challenges cultural norms and mobilizes the next generation to defend America’s founding principles.”
