Colorado city ranks among best for coffee lovers – 5 coffee shops to check out

According to WalletHub, coffee’s popularity in the U.S. first started its climb after the Boston Tea Party, now at the point where many Americans consume the drink as part of their regular routine. A survey from the National Coffee Association shows that 66% of Americans drink coffee daily, with about 519 million cups consumed around the country each day.
WalletHub recently conducted a study to determine the best coffee cities in the U.S. Here’s a look at how some Colorado cities ranked.
Denver took 15th place on the rankings out of the 100 cities that were included. Colorado Springs came in at 48th and Aurora ranked 55th.
To create the rankings, WalletHub compared the 100 largest cities across 12 key indicators of “coffee lover-friendliness.” Among included data points were the number of coffee shops, coffee houses, and cafes per capita, the average price per pack of coffee, average spending on coffee per household, and Google search traffic for the term “coffee.”
Since Denver ranked highly among the nation’s best cities for coffee lovers, here’s a look at some of the Mile High City’s best coffee shops:
