The Flocks and Frocks fundraiser will include live music, light appetizers and bird-themed beverages, a bird-inspired costume/fashion contest with prizes, bird oracle readings, and live paintings, including bird-inspired face paintings.

On Oct. 4 and 5, there will be free live owl demonstrations from 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. The family-friendly open house at the Kingery Audubon Nature Center will feature arts and crafts, activities like owl pellet dissection and a bird scavenger hunt, garden tour, story hour with Douglas County Libraries and a birds & Energy demonstration with Martin Ogle.
