Where good news shines

Erie High’s Logan Hale is making a name for herself.

A sophomore at the University of Denver, Hale was awarded the Summit League golfer of the week award after tying for sixth place at 5-under par last week at the Wisconsin Badger Invite. Hale shot three rounds at par or better and tied a career-best 68 in the final round.

Hale won the CHSAA Class 4A state individual title and helped Erie to the team state championship.

The Pioneers return to tournament play Monday at the Red Sky Classic in Wolcott.
