Broncos TE Nate Adkins active vs. Chargers, RB Jaleel McLaughlin again inactive

INGLEWOOD, Calif. – After missing the first two games of the season following ankle surgery, tight end Nate Adkins will return to action Sunday against the Los Angeles Chargers at SoFi Stadium.

With Evan Engram out with a back injury, Adkins was one of three tight ends active for the Broncos, joining Adam Trautman and Lucas Krull.

For the third time in three games this season, Tyler Badie was active for the Broncos as the third running back behind starter J.K. Dobbins and rookie RJ Harvey, and Jaleel McLaughlin was again inactive.

Along with Engram and McLaughlin, inactive for Denver were outside linebacker Que Robinson, defensive end Sai’vion Jones, tackle Frank Crum, and Sam Ehlinger, the emergency third quarterback.

Inactive for the Chargers were defensive backs Elijah Molden and Cam Hart, linebacker Emany Johnson, wide receiver KeAndre Lambert-Smith, tight end Will Dissly and defensive lineman Otito Ogbonnia.
