Denver weather: Calm and sunny skies return Wednesday

After over an inch of rain fell at Denver International Airport (1.16″ recorded) from the Tuesday rain storm, metro Denver dries out Wednesday. Further higher in elevation, snow fell to the tune of between 4-9 inches in the Front Range mountains, with Cameron Pass picking up 4″ and Deadman Hill 8.8″, as reported by 9News.
Denverites can expect sunny skies today, with a high near 69, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder. Light and variable winds will blow throughout the day.
Tonight it’ll be clear, with a low around 46. Light and variable wind becoming south around 6 mph in the evening.
Little to no chances of storminess are forecast for the next several days, with even summer-like temperatures returning over the weekend. Night time lows, however, have tapered off and will only be in the upper 40s and lower 50s over the next few days.
