PHOTOS: Everything bizarre, creepy on display at touring oddities expo at Colorado Convention Center
The unique, bizarre and creepy showcased itself at the Colorado Convention Center over the weekend for the traveling Oddities and Curiosities expo.
Colorado is among dozens of stops the expo visits across North America throughout the year. The expo visits 41 cities in the U.S. and Canada. It stopped in Denver on Saturday and Sunday.
From live performances, arts and crafts, activities and costumes — the expo has everything for lovers of the strange and bizarre.
“Here, the weird, wonderful, and downright bizarre unite in a fascinating display of the extraordinary, providing a platform for vendors and artists to connect with a community of like-minded individuals,” expo officials said of its 2025 tour.
Officials called this year’s tour the “most ambitious North American tour yet.”
The event, in particular, features hundreds of “oddity” vendors from across the county, “creating a playground for the strange and unusual,” expo officials said.
Some booths featured items like animal skulls, specimens, masks, preserved insects, creepy artwork, DIY creations, metaphysical accoutrements, Halloween-themed goods, skeletal objects and funeral collectibles.
The show also offers tarot readings, sideshow performances, taxidermy classes and concessions.
Founded in Oklahoma in 2017 by Michelle and Tonny Cozzaglio, the show continues to tour the states.
“We created this expo to give odd small businesses and artists a space where they can thrive,” Michelle Cozzaglio said in a statement. “Our goal is to build a community where people feel safe to be themselves, surrounded by like-minded folks who appreciate the weird and wonderful.”
“We’re always looking for ways to evolve and make the experience even better for both our exhibitors and our guests,” she added.
