Denver weather: Heat returns Wednesday around metro area
Early-fall warmth returns to metro Denver on Wednesday as temperatures bounce into the upper 70s, and not a rain shower is in site too.
Denverites can expect sunny skies today, with a high near 79, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder. Light and variable winds become east northeast 5 to 7 mph in the afternoon.
Tonight, expect mostly clear conditions, with a low around 52. East northeast winds between 5 to 8 mph become south southwest in the evening.
Thursday will be the warmest day of the week as the high temperature should crack into the lower 80s, which is above-average.
Continued mostly sunny to sunny days close out the week and carry over into the weekend.
