Denver weather: Sunshine and warm temperatures return Tuesday

The sun comes back out Tuesday around metro Denver and warms things back up after a cool start to the work week.
Denverites can expect mostly sunny skies today, with a high near 75, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder. Light west winds become south between 5 to 10 mph in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 16 mph.
Expect mostly clear skies tonight, with a low around 51. South winds between 6 to 9 mph become west in the evening. Winds could gust as high as 15 mph.
Wednesday will most likely be the warmest day of the week as continued above-average temperatures persist.
Another chance for rain Thursday plus a cool down begin to close out the week as high temperatures return to seasonal levels.

Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 79. South wind 6 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph.
Thursday: A chance of showers, with thunderstorms also possible after 3 p.m. Partly sunny, with a high near 64. West wind 6 to 8 mph becoming northeast in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 18 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
Friday: Sunny, with a high near 65.
Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 65.
