Denver Pioneers soccer plays Pittsburgh to scoreless draw | Colorado Sunshine

Where good news shines

The Denver Pioneers soccer team played the University of Pittsburgh to a scoreless draw Tuesday at Ambrose Urbanic Field in Pittsburgh.

The Pios, who are receiving votes in the latest college soccer poll, held the Panthers without a shot on goal. That was a first for the DU program since October 2024 and the 24th time in the program’s Division I history.

Denver is now 1-1-1 against Power 4 teams this season. Goalkeeper Isaac Nehme recorded his school-record 32nd career shutout.

Denver (7-6-1) plays at No. 9 Virginia at 3 p.m. Sunday (ACC Network).
